Commitment to Safety for Individuals

We are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all workers, visitors and members of the public. Hazards and risks to health and safety will be eliminated or minimised, as far as is reasonably practicable.

All people attending one of our sites have important responsibilities for health and safety in the workplace.

We are committed to complying with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2017, codes of practice and other safety guidance material.

You agree you:

  • · Are trained, inducted, and registered/licenced to work safely onsite
  • · Are trained on (and have immediate access to) your employer’s Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) documentation.
  • · Will eliminate or minimise all workplace hazards and risks as far as is reasonably practicable
  • · Will take reasonable care for your own health and safety and the health and safety of others
  • · Will follow safe work procedures, instructions and rules
  • · Will participate in safety training
  • · Will report health and safety hazards
  • · Will report all injuries and incidents
  • · Will use safety equipment and personal protective equipment as instructed/required
